Agricultural marketing system in India: A conceptual exposition

Abstract: Marketing of
agriculture covers all the services involved in moving agri-products from
farmers to the consumers. In Bihar farmers are unable to secure a fair deal at
marketing and production stages of their produce and an average farmer is
denied to get income the industry. The farmers need the services of well -
organized marketing system supported by marketing co- operatives right means of
transport and proper storage facilities. Further for a long time, production
and marketing conditions in the state has primitive and farmers have exploited
by the traders and middlemen.
